Cpu is shutting down while 2-5 munites playing games

Hello,
i bought a new computer. core i5 760, asus h55 m board, 6gb ddr3 ram, 1gb ati hd 4670 video card. when i try to play games like james bond blood stone, moh 2010, cod black ops.. after 2-5 munites monitor is going into safe mode but cpu is still running.. after a while the cpu also shutting down

these games are give more work load for cpu,so producing more heat.
so check between cpu & heatsink, heatsinkcompoud is enough & heatsink is fixed properly.

yeah something may be overheating, what PSU do you have?

Download CPU ID and monitor your hardware temperatures. Are things overheating? Overheating issues is a common cause for your computer to shutdown. By the way, you ARE talking about your computer and not the actual CPU? The actual CPU is the central processing unit.

yeah get the CPU ID HWmonitor, best temp monitoring program i know of.

you check u r viedo card (this is over heating, can propagate heat etc....)
