Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my old E6400/DDR2/P965 combo. I won't change my Radeon HD 5830 at this point. Considering that new chipsets are coming soon (Q1 or Q2 2011), I won't pay the full price for a i7 or i5 processor. I guess I'll stick with the cheapest option : AMD.

So, here are my choices :

CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ955FBGMBOX

OR

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ965FBGMBOX

+/- 15$ difference before tax / shipping

MOBO : GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

RAM : G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ

I'm using my computer for video games and light Photoshop. A lot of emails, internet browsing of course ..

I currently have a Antec Earthwatts EA650 PSU, will it be enough to power this CPU/MOBO/RAM combo ?

Thank you
