PowerEdge 2900 1600 FSB?

Hello,
Has anyone tried one of the 1600 FSB Xeon 5400s in a PowerEdge 2900 III? The HW specs state it supports 1066 and 1333 FSB, and 5400 series processors. Some of the 5400 series have 1600 FSB e.g E5472. Will that machine support them?

Hello, and welcome to THG.

Does not look like it does. Unless you want to lower your FSB on the CPU,( which I have never heard of), then that may be the only option right now.
