Can ASUS Black 12X BD-R 2X BD-RE 16X DVD+R 12X DVD-RAM 8X BD-ROM use SATA3 connection or only SATA2?
At the moment I connected the drive to a SATA3 but just want to make sure that it can handle it or should I connect it to SATA2?

All optical drives (CD, DVD, or Blu-Ray) Read & Write at SATA1 speeds.
So you can connect your Blu-Ray drive to a SATA1, SATA2, or SATA3 port and it will work at it's advertised speeds.
