Neither. I'd switch the X4 965 for a 955 (they're the same CPU, just the 965 has a slight factory overclock, which you can get by increasing the multiplier by one. You don't even need an aftermarket cooler). I'd also switch that expensive board for either the ASRock 870 Extreme3 or an Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3. The 955 will save $10, the ASRock board would save $95 or the Asus would save $40.
I wouldn't go with Intel right now. The LGA1156 and LGA1366 sockets are supposed to be replaced within a matter of weeks (possibly a few months), making the sockets (and thus the CPUs) obsolete. You won't have an upgrade path.
