My problem is I cannot run my second gpu, regardless what I do. Here are some photos to make it easier for you to understand.

I already tried updating driver, reset bios, reinstall windows etc...

The second gpu is not dead it just wont run for some reason, I already checked ccc catalyst AI is on.

For some odd reason it shows 3 displays in windows, yet I only have 1 monitor plugged in.

Also want to mention 1 gpu says "Primary" other says "Linked"

Here are my computer specs

CPU - e8600 4.5 ghz
GPU - ATI Radeon HD 4870 x2 2Gb
PSU - HX 1000 W Corsair
OS - Win 7 64 bit
Mobo - x48-ds4 Gigabyte
Ram - Mushkin hp2-6400 4gb
Sound - 5.1 logitec

If using the latest drivers I believe you will need to install the associated hotfix otherwise the second one won't work.

The fact that three things appear when right clicking the tray icon is strange, I only have two, however it does not mean you have three connected.

The primary and linked is how it should look.

Now, how do you know your second one is not working as it should?

When I run any game now I get low fps, I used to have 2 gpu working and had very good fps in games. So clearly the second gpu is not working, not to mention when I alt tab to check the second gpu load it's at zero.

Hopefully someone has an idea to why it not working -.-

This is common with dual gpu cards and the same applies to Nvidia cards ware one or both gpus fail. If it does not show up in device manager nor in rbflash then the gpu is bricked. Dual planar cards had one advantage compared to single pcb cards as the defective side can be replaced.

Pretty funny statement considering we're talking about computers xD
