Hi Group,
I installed a PCI Serical ATA host card and hooked up a hitachi 1TB HDD to it... But it is not showing up in my BOIS, Device manager, or anywhere else I can thik to check.
The controller card show it as being a 465gb HDD when i turn on the computer. Then says 'no device'.... I've checked all the connections to the PCI Serial ATA Host card, and the HDD all cables and such are pushed in and the card is fully seated. Any other suggestions?

it is not listed as PCI Serial ATA Host card but there is something listed as IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers... So I am assuming that is it.
