Building a new PC

Hey all,

Not really sure if this is the appropriate forum to post this, but I think it is!

I'm building a budget PC that will run WoW (World of Warcraft) at or near max settings and as this will be the first time I'm building my own PC I would love to hear your suggestions.

Currently my laptop specs are:
1.86 GHz Dual Core Processor
2 Gigs of RAM
GeForce Nvidia GS 7900 Go Series

Possible new CPU specs:

Radeon HD 5670 1GB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card -

MSI 785GT-E63 AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard -

Rosewill RV2-600 600 W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V SLI Ready Power Supply -

AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.1GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX445WFGMBOX -

G.SKILL NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBNS -

Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive -

ASUS Black IDE DVD-ROM Drive Model DVD-E818A4/BLK/B/GEN -

Hanns·G HW-191APB Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor -

Rosewill Smart One ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, Black interior, comes with three Fans-1x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1x Rear 120mm Fan, 1x Top 120mm Fan, Option Fans-2x Side 120mm Fan -

I've heard many say I need a better CPU and that my GPU wouldn't run it on ultra very well.

Also, a PCI-Express 2.1 card will work in a PCI-Express 2.0 slot correct?

Any tips or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated for this newbie computer builder. Thanks in advance!
