Need help with system choice..

2 setups roughly same price but dont know which is better. since im not sure whats more important.

1st setup
AMD PHENOM II, 1055T x6 (6x2.8ghz) 8MB CACHE (AM3)

GIGABYTE Motherboard 870A-UD3

XFX HD5850 1GB DDR5 graphics card

4GB DDR3 1600MHZ HYPER-X KINGSTON MEMORY

the rest is same in both computers


2nd setup

AMD PHENOMII 955 x4 (4x3.2GHZ) (BLACK EDITION), AM3

GIGABYTE Motherboard 770T-UD3

GIGABYTE 1GB DDR5 GEFORCE GTX460 OC graphics card

8GB 1333MHZ DDR3, KINGSTON MEMORY

my own thought is that the first setup should be better... but im not sure if the increase in memory on the second setup makes that one better.

Hello, are you building this yourself? I'm guessing not, if not you should look into it. It is not hard and will give you a better build and you will learn as well.

What are you using the system for? The first one will be way better overall, better CPU, better graphics. 99% of people do not require more then 4GB of memory so it is a waste.

Go for the first build but build your own instead.

For no CPU intensive apps/software more gaming heavy i would hit
