i really need an answer here 5770 artifact should i return it?

i recently bought a sapphire hd 5770 (non vapor-x) no overclocking at all and i was playing cod 4 and ac 1 and i had a weird problem with cod 4 this to be precise

i died respawned and it was gone clear blueskies again

also when i was playing ac 1 i didnt have artifacts but i dnt know how to explain this at the start when u are ordered to release the trap set by the assassins (you drop logs on an army) each soldiers shadow flickered alot not all the soldiers but quite a few i didnt have fraps at the time but is that an artifact or a game glitch??

oh forgot to mention the gpu was at 60c i increased fan speed to 83% and it cooled down to about 55c and the only option i have changed in ccc is the AA mode to adaptive multi sample AA everything else is application controlled iam ruuning at 1440x900 rez

core i3 530@2.9GHz (no OC)
Kingston 2gb ddr3 1333MHz ram
h55-usb3 MOBO
Sapphire HD 5770
cooler master extream power plus 500watt ( i know its cheap but i was on a budget +i dont consume that much with this configuration)

wats ur ati driver version? u should update ur driver.

yes, update your driver first or use driver version 10.3 or 10.4, if the same problem appears then RMA your card...

i am currently using 10.4 and the problems gone guess what *driver issue* wish ati would pick up the slack and make decent drivers for once. one thing is i cant access overdriver its locked in 10.4 i use msi after burner to set the proper profiles for the fan i am not really into overclocking.
