Yo yo yo.

What do you guys think?

GTS 450 or 5770?

If I go with the GTS 450, It'll definitely be the Asus TOP version
If I go with the 5770, It'll definitely be the Sapphire Vapor-X version.

My sys is-

Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (about to be a Phenom II x2 555)
Asus EnGT 220
6 Gb Ddr2 @ 800
Jetway MA3 79GDGD-LF
OCZ Fatal1ty 550w Modular
2x 320 Gb HDDs
Lite-On dvd Burner

Hell, a 5570 would be an upgrade from this f*****ng 220, lol.

its a toss up, the ATI 5770 has a slight edge in performance and lower price. If you prefer Nvidia, its not like you are taking a step back.

Yeah. I just thought maybe the stability of the 450 might aid me, as I am still a n00b in the world of enthusiasts. But I was leaning 5770, just wanted a little confirmation.

If you plan on using AA the HD5770 is a better choice, the GTX450 suffers a more significant framerate penalty with AA enabled.
Without AA the high Asus overclock is going to keep it a little ahead of the HD5770, but the difference is going to be quite small.
Me, I'd see which cooler is quietest ;)
