(Solved) MOB/CPU compatibility

Hello,
I have a Foxconn motherboard which supports up to 1066 FSB.

I want to upgrade it with an E7500 (1066fsb) cpu, but I'm not sure if it will work or not, since its not listed on Foxconn compatibiliy list for my Mob. And when I asked their thech guys, they replied me by saying that it's not compatible.

I would like to know if someone has encoutred a situation like this and if it worked or not.

Your foxconn board chipset is too old; it doesn't support wolfdale .045 cpus which have a different voltage spec. You need to choose another board to run the e7500.

check on intel first before upgrade,could not work

Thank you, yeah you're right I'm stuck to E6600 or Q6600 according to intel
