Avoiding Mionet

I have a WD World Book Edition II NAS Drive but I want to remotely access it without using Mionet. I also want access to it by iphone and ipad so could anyone give me any suggestions as to how i could go about doing this. Many Thanks in advance

Your Iphone and Ipad do not have the networking protocols needed to map a network drive. to access the drive without Mionet would you please provide the OS you are trying to use.
