Hey guys.

Im preparing for my new custom build computer later and i wanted to use my old HDD (1TB) from my old desktop.
If i were to connect it to the newly built computer, how were i to load windows 8 from that drive? I don't want to spend another $70-$100 on windows 8 on which i allready have preloaded on my drive. Or is there a way to put windows 8 on a flash drive and just install it from a usb?

P.S i have 64 bit version (sorry for the noobish questions im just a guy looking for answers) appretiate any suggestions :)

Solution
with new hardware you will have to reinstall your windows os
if you try to use the old hard drive with pre installed windows with new parts it will not boot as you will experience driver issues. old drivers found on the pre installed windows will not work with the new hardware
