3tb drive seen as 2tb drive after gpt

Hello,
I recently installed a 3TB WD Cavier, as a 4th drive in my workstation, to serve as a backup drive.
However, Windows disk manager is reporting 2047GB, as opposed to the 3TB. I have followed the thread posted on the site and can confirm that the drive is partioned as GBP, confirmed via Diskpart.exe.
Can anybody give further advice on how to get access to the whole disk?
