Cpu slow? i7 930 passmark

Hey, i used to think i got great fps in games with my 6870, i7 930 and 6gbs of ram, but i tried playing episode two today and only got like 55-77 fps, while i guy using a 460 got like 120 and up, i decided to run some tests, i ran passmark and my cpu score was liek 500 below what its ranked as, and my gpu wasnt the same either, is something wrong with my computer or is it some kinda of other issue?

Seems like some other issue as you have mentioned. It could also be an issue with drivers. Have you updated your computer drivers for any components?

Passmark isn't a very reliable or meaningful benchmark, nor are the ratings on there done with any kind of strict system controls
