This Gaming system, Classed as Low/Medium/High end?

Just out of curiosity would this system fall into a low medium or high end gaming catagory,

And how would it compare to an identical build but with i5 Cpu/mobo mix?

CPU Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition OC'd @ 3.8Ghz
Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AMD 880G Mobo
4Gb Corsair DDR3 13333Mhz
Asus ATI 6850 1Gb
700W Psu

Blu-ray Drive
Lian-Li V1000 Titanium case
Plenty of cooling

This machine is already built so wont be replacing any parts, the reason for asking is i am just curious to know if i would have built a better gaming machine going with an i5 buld.

Cheers :)

  1. If sticking to that mobo (16/4) CF is not advisable so i would say mid - if u had swapped out to a 8/8 CFable Asrock 870Extreme3 then u in business hehe

This is my 1st build and i was planning on CF in the future, maybe a few months time, will 16/4 cause issues?
When buying the Mobo i knew it wouldnt run 8/8 but didnt think it would cause problems, thinking 16/4 just not being as powerful as 8/8, have i made a mistake? If i have not rely an issue, when i decide to buy another 6850 i could just upgrade the mobo too?
  3. God damn that Mobo is for sale at Novatech, the same place i bought mine Asus and almost £10 cheaper!!!! damn!!!!

O well in a few months i will buy another 6850 and that mobo

you will still be allowed to crossfire, you just might lose a chunk of performance, though maybe not too much since these aren't the most powerful cards out there, quick someone we need scaling charts for the ati 68xx series
  5. after reading this, i dont think there will be that big of a performance drop by using 16/4.
