New build - won't work

Hi all,

I am trying to build my new pc - it is my first time so I'm not entirely sure what i'm doing. Having connected all the hardware I powered on for the first time - after about ten seconds of loading up the PC shut down and will now not power on at all. I know this is probably very little information for you guys but do you have any thoughts? If you have questions I'll be happy to answer.

give us details of the components, i think, as its your first build, your psu is probarbly a low amperrage... but whatever, give us the components...

Case: Cooler Master HAF 922
PSU: Corsair 650w
Mobo: ASRock 870 Extreme3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB
RAM: Corsair DDR3 1600MHz 4Gb kit of 2x240 pin DIMM
HDD: My current Seagate SATA 250GB
OS: Windows 7 64bit

I've just found that the power supply is buggered, so mystery solved!
