Hi guys I am ordering from hardwareversand.de. I got someone else to come up with a build for me but I need advice like will all of the components be compatible with each other :na:

Also, for the time being I only have a crappy VGA monitor but I plan to upgrade to a more modern HD monitor. I noticed that the graphics card has only DVI/ HDMI out. If I buy a standard DVI to VGA adapter will it work properly?

Anyway here is my build:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 445 "Boxed" 95W, Sockel AM3

DVD: LG GH22NS40/NS30 bare schwarz SATA II

HDD:Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB, SATA II (HD502HJ)

Case: Thermaltake V9 Black Edition ohne Netzteil

Graphics: HIS HD 6850 Fan GDDR5 1024MB Native HDMI Display Port Dual-DVI
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=39499&agid=1004

4GB-Kit G-Skill Ripjaws PC3-10667U CL9
Ram: http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=29670&agid=1192

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3, AMD 770, AM3 ATX
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=35051&agid=1232

PSU: Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 550W
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=30069&agid=240

OS: Windows 7 64 Bit edition
Forgot to mention would the case provide sufficient cooling for my build even when I am playing games without buying any more fans for the case.

Regards :D

Thanks for your reply :)
Anyway I probably wont be using crossfire or over clocking my build much (might be unlocking the x3 to a x4) but that's about it. Will the cooler master PSU run my build correctly tho even while running games? its about the only other PSU in my budget :\

no actually it won't. the pcie connector needs to be a 6 pin. From what i can tell that one is an 8 pin.
the 6850 uses 1 pcie 6 pin connector.
but 550W for 1 6850 is enough yes.

Thanks for pointing that out :)
Are you sure that super flower are bad? I was looking up some stuff online and most of the pepole said that they are ok and you will get the required power from it but then again I am a newb when it comes to power supply's and I know that if a PSU goes you may as well kiss goodbye to all other components on the rig :(

I think that the SF psu has the compatible pins for the components on the PC right?

apart from the PSU what do you think on the rest of the build? Will all of the components work together and will they all fit in the case properly? I really appreciate your advice :)
