Ram compatibility and clearance

I am planning on buidling a new computer and want to know if the ram will fit with the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO.

The motherboard I will be getting is ASUS P8Z68-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z68 and the rams I want to get is CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9.

If it will not fit then Im thinking of getting this

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

or this

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM

I have the same motherboard and ram but a different cooler. I opted for a Corsair H100 and there are no issues. But if you are using 2X4gb sticks of vengeance you won't be using the first dimm slot anyway and it might work. I know what the Cooler Master cost compared to the Corsair H-60 but if you look around you may find a good deal on one.

You'll have no problem with any of the kits listed using two slots only.
If you ever plan on adding more ram the Vengeance ram will be an issue(52mm tall)
Ripjaws X (41mm tall) might have to slide fan up to fight closest ram module in a 16GB set-up.(all slots used).
Corsair makes low profile Vengeance kits now btw.(exact same performance as tall kits)

The Hyper 212+ and several other HSFs have 37mm space from the bottom of the base to the first fin. Most RAM with heatsinks on top will NOT clear in the first two slots so you must typically use slots 2 & 4. If you desire all slots filled then you need RAM with a maximum of 35mm in height.

Well I like what you posted, I really like the G.SKILL F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM but I prefer the Thermaltake Frio for OC'ing to ~4.5GHz +/- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106150

I saw the H100 mentioned, it's fine -- it can get noisy http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/07/26/corsair_h100_extreme_perf_liquid_cpu_cooler_review/3 for $120 it isn't cheap.

Unfortunately Corsair H2O coolers and similar designs are prone to leaks resulting in serious hardware damage. See the Corsair H2O forums for firsthand tales of woe.

^NO, the early Asetek used aluminum and were prone to a galvanic reaction. It's ALL copper now -- problem long since fixed.

i have a similer problem , i have read that the 212 evo has 40 mm clearance according to the manafacture, and i have a 50 mm clearance. let me know you find a good cooler as i am also looking for one, and i dont suggest watercooling , i have had nothing but isssues with it. the h70.
