Hi guys,

Just a quick question which has been puzzling me. I have noticed the HDMI output on the back of the card. I have also noticed many forums on the audio output issue via hdmi (although i do not have this problem). I have yet to hook up the system to the Philips 42" via HDMI. I am just wondering if my system or 4600 card will be put under any more stress outputting to the 42" than my regular 19" monitor? Its a Radeon 4600 series card (card mem: 1024) System : Windows 7 64bit, 4gb ddr2, quad core.

Any help much appreciated,
Mark

No do not worry it will work fine the only issue is find a good resolution to use for it except if it is capable of 720 or 1080 i or p then you can select it in ccc and see the awesome result

Size does not matter, it is the resolution that counts.

The only time you will notice any decrease in performance is when you play games. If you plag games....

The video card should work with the HDTV, but like many cases with HDTVs connected to a PC, you may have over / under scan issues which can be corrected in Catalyst Control Center or CCC. Look for "Digital Panel" and expand and click on "Scaling Options". Adjust appropriately.
