How to repair VGA problems on laptop motherboard

Hi Iam facing a problem with my hp pavilion dv4-1404 notebook. When i start it, some horizental colored lines appear n decoloring of screen occurs.
But after some time it disappears n some tiny lines remain at bottom.
This problem alwys occurs when i start up my laptop...
Pls help me to solve this problem

Hi Mysterious this is most likely the Laptop LCD panel itself could also be your onboard graphics card generally when the components warm up that is when the issue becomes less severe. I would recommend you take it through to HP and get them to asses it for you as laptops are a different industry to desktops and hardware troubleshooting cant be done by everyone
