Well my current pc is:

-Core 2 duo E8400 @3.00 Ghz
-Intel Classic motherboard DG33BU(Can't overclock)
-4gb ddr2 ram Kingston 800mhz
-OCZ 700 watts power supply stealthxstream
-320gb HD SATA II Hitachi 7200 rpm
-ATI Twin Frozr II 5850 video card
-HAF 932 case
-32" HDTV 1920x1080 resolution

I could sell this pc to a family member and with more bucks get:

-Core i5 760
-Gigabyte motherboard, think it was the ud3p-usb3(I only use 1 videocard at a time but a very good one).(Also im new to overclock so I got no idea how to do it).
-4gb 1033mhz ddr3 dual channel Super Talent CL9
-500gb or 1tb Samsung F3 Spinpoint HD
-Power supply(dunno if 650w would be more than enough for an overclocked system with 1 huge videocard??? I'm going with either Antec True Power 750/650w or Corsair Modular 650watts.)
-Keep same video card
-Keep same case

Or...

Wait till Bulldozer / Sandy Bridge come out? Some people say it would be like super wow and current pc's would look bad.

Also if I buy it it would be on www.ewiz.com and on a black friday sale if they have it.

It would ultimately depend on what u use your machine for

If your games do not scale > 2 cores and/or u could clock to compensate somewhat your current platform is fine else if you have CPU intensive/multi threaded apps/software an upgrade is in order ^^

Sorry for the late reply but I didn't understand you very well

Uhmmm, the games Im used to play? lot's of FPS like Black Ops,Metro 2033 and upcoming ones, also games like Just Cause that have gigantic sight of view, and rts sometimes.

Old games like devil may cry 4 with everything on max , AA everything 1920x1080 I run them at +100fps

So what's the final recomendation?

Was thinking on getting this cheap mobo:

GIGABYTE GA-P31-ES3G for $65 and overclock the e8400 revision C0 to 3.5ghz since most people don't notice a big improvement from 3.5 to 4ghz in gaming....from what I read.

So yay or nay for the cheap mobo that was $100+ when it came out?
