ok here is what i am looking at stringing together

issue: psu compatibility
price range for solution = 30-50 dollars (any more causes me to drop the ram fan, which i dont mind if needed)
preferred sites = newegg, tiger direct

ddr2 ram 2 gigs
dvd burner - unsure brand is installed on my comp atm

now here is where i am worried,
1. i am unsure if i am really getting the right psu for my needs, i know it will run my mobo, hd, and my dvd burner
2. is the fan controller a wise investment at this point?
3. do i have all the power connections i need for all those fans
4. if not how do i solve the above issues cheaply as i am putting all this together on a 400-450 dollar budget, not counting ram, dvd, and hd.

IGP rig/fresh build no point building with DDR2 platforms as the sun has gone down on theese - hit an AM3/DDR3 build and i would say a Corsair 400CX 80+ would do nicely hehe

yeah i could go that route, however with my price range i end up looking at the same ram supported either way on on a processor thats exactly the same as the am2+ board and this saves me the issue of having to buy new ram, and as my main uses are gaming and net surfing with some other rare occasional rendering, i dont really need the expenses of dd3 ram or the power.

like i said for this build its mainly my psu compatility and the fan's all fitting in

Hmm best tell us the whole story with our standard template ^^

That Diablotek isn't "right" for anybodies needs.
Do yourself a favor and budget more money toward a decent quality psu.

It's just as delluser1 said. While 600W is more than enough for what you're going to use, everyone should stay away from Diablotek.

That is unless you enjoy watching your computer go down in flames.

Speaking of going down in flames, the star of this show is a Raidmax

There's no mention of a video card, without one a 300 watt psu would be enough for your system, mentioning one will get you better reccomendations.

graphic card added

so with a max price range of say 70 bucks what would you suggest

and the issue with all the fans still bothers me, mainly that it looks like i dont have enough slots for all the fans or am i missing something somewhere

heres what i have come up with

Antec EarthWatts EA-500D Green 500W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817371035

CORSAIR Builder Series CMPSU-600CX 600W ATX12V v2.3 Active PFC Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139019

both are slightly more than i want to pay but i can prolly hack that.

with no video card, The Seasonic 350W OEM 80+ Bronze PSU is fine ($39.99)
If you want a video card, go for the Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze model ($59.99). with either you must supply your own power cord, which is either $3.00 or free if you have old ones just lying around

That's a really low end video card

The case should come with 3 pin to 4 pin fan adapters that can be daisy chained together, my Sunbeam Cube did.
