What does bois show for 2 x 2G

I have two memory sticks installed on my motherboard. Each memory stick is 2G. The bios shows 2G as total memory.
Should it not be 4G? Is there a problem with my memory sticks?

What does Windows/CPU-Z report ?
If they both show 2GB,then reseat the RAM and see if it helps.If it again didn't work,then try testing with each 2GB RAM simultaneously and check if the BIOS recognizes them or not
