Newbuild for number crunching

i currently have the following,
M3A785GMH/128M
1x2gb kingston valueram ddr3 1333mhz
athlon ii x3 440
i am also using a flaky brand psu (colorsit 550w)
i want to upgrade to a number crunching beast that will be left on for months with little impact on my wallet,
are the following upgrades worth it?
seasonic 750w or xfx 850w black edition
phenom ii x6 1090t
1x2gb kingston valueram ddr3 1333mhz

1090 is a very nice cpu, if you have the money dont hesitate, also you might consider more ram
I would choose the seasonic, especialy if its an 80+ bronze
