USB headphone static problem in XP

Hello,
i am having alot of trouble getting Clear sound through ANY kind of USB headset, i can hear say the music i am playing along with some loud distortion, im running XP SP3, i have tryed updating my bios, uninstalling and reinstalling sound drivers, unplugging all unneccecery usb components (including my speakers that run off USB power and a analog jack) does anyone know what else i could do to resolve this problem??

Sounds like it could be a grounding issue. In your home you have the outlets with 3 prongs holes correct. Some people don't so they rip the 3rd prong of the psu cord this mean there isn't a ground..


other then this idk lol! get a sound card.
