Crossfire Worth It?

I am thinking about getting a second card and running it in crossfire. I can run 2 16x cards. Is it worth it?

I have a 5750 but have ran everygame maxed out so far with no problems. I am thinking about getting a 5770 too.

but what games do you play???? if you are running smooth fps now there is no point to crossfire 2x 5770 in cf= 1 5850 not very fast.

I play Mass Effect 2, Crysis, Metro 2033, and BO. I can run Crysis at aobut 45fps maxed out and BO about 110fps.

I would grab another one 45fps is unplayable in my opinion.

I seen that Crysis 2 specs are quite lower than I expected. Do you know about how much fps increase is possible with crossfire?

I cant seem to find anything. I would recommend upgrading to a different card if you want to play crysis 2. One good card is better then two cheap ones

Mine is 60 so 60 is all that matter this thread isnt about me so post to help him. not argue with everyone in every thread you go into.

Im not arguing? Whats wrong with you. The human eye can notice colors decals way past 200fps reason why you dont see the difference between 100 and 60 are because your monitor only spit out 60fps ----> 60mhz freq.

Please dont make false allegations assumption is the mother off all.....?

At what resolution ? The 5850 can only do 23 fps in Crysis at 1920 x 1200 and that's a heckuva lot faster than the 5750.

If you have 1650 x 1050 or less, you'll get by....but if ya have 1920 x 1080, I'd upgrade the card.

I do not think the op knows what he is talking about. Most people never go into the settings the new games change them automatically.

He still wont get 45 fps at ultra settings with dx 9 on a 5750.

I know wtf I am talking about dude. Crysis warhead has enthusiest settings while crysis does not give that oiption. The only thing I now remember I did not turn all the way is aa. I had it at 2x, my bad. Everything else was on high. It is DX 10. I know my way around a computer, esp games. Call me out all you want, I know how I run my games.

1080p on everything. I was playing it on my 42in tv in 1080p but I just got a new monitor and it is 1080p as well. How do you take a screen shot? Never have done it before but will to show I am right. I know the difference between resolutions and such. I am very computer literate.

no i dont think you know anything a 5750 cannot play crysis on max at 1920x1080 you say you know things about resolutions but yet all you say is 1080 what res are you playing at....
