I have a usb 3 flash drive that's 64gb and I will be using it mostly for music(MP3s, occasional FLAC files). What would be a good allocation size for that? The default is 128kb but I'm not sure if that's enough for faster write times.
You should select the smallest allocation size possible.

Makes sense about not having to rely on mechanical movement for seeking, etc. But are there any tests that compare the write times of different allocation sizes on flash drives with exFAT?
