this system will prolly be purchased by 11/16/10

system usage= gaming, downloading, video,

os = vista/7 64bit

things i wont need in it atm = keyboard/mouse, dvd rw, hard drive, wireless connection, pci-e video card, 2 gigs of ddr2 ram, speakers,

note i want ddr2 : cost effectiveness and lack of need for more than ddr2 can provide me for a while

preffered sites= newegg, tigerdirect, anywhere where i can order more than one part.

preffer equipment that will last a while, with upgrade ability

Since u have DVDRW/HDD/GPU and just 2GB DDR2, in the interest of

Just sell those DDR2 sticks and your budget with reused h/w is more than adequate for a solid DDR3 platform ^^ The sun has gone down on DDR2 platforms and all current/incoming ones would be DDR3 based

true got the same thought, for different reasons.

339 before shipping + 96 for the case i want which is out of stock, (9 bay sunbeam blue acrylic) for a total of 439

and suggestions on what i might need or could improve to finish out my budget?
