P8H61M-LE EFI BIOS

I have a very simple question to you helpers... =(

I want to reformat my computer with Win7 Starter 32bit OS, and I have this P8H61M-LE MoBo with EFI BIOS. I'm just wondering and also afraid that will the reformatting can delete my EFI BIOS? =/

I don't see how reformatting an HDD or an SSD can delete the EFI BIOS since they both require completely different independent and unrelated procedures.

Well maybe if the formatting command is infected with malware that was written to reflash the EFI BIOS.
