  1. i would NOT recommend that Mobo.
  2. Why not? And any suggestions for another?
  3. quality with the brand.
cheap boards arent always the best.
Usually you're never supposed to skimp on a mobo or a PSU

ASRock is a spin off of Asus. ASRock boards are cheaper, but id trust them over the other option.
  4. Ok thanks, will the ram I have now work with it?

That motherboard is still no good. You are totally right about the brand but It has x16, x4 thats no good for a upgrade path.

This MOBO would be better option and it will support the ram you have now:
    ASRock 870 EXTREME3 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard Was: $109.99 Now: $99.99

( Crossfire at single x16 or dual at x8,x8 wich is good for an upgrade path. And also has a USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s)

And by the way get the AMD phenom 955 not the 965 the only difference is the clock speed, and you can overclock the 955 to match the speed of 965 with the stock cooler with no problem and it's easy to do is well.
  6. Thanks, but what would the 6 gb/s do? because I thought that sata only applied to HDDs and the one I want to get only has 3 gb/s, oh and other than the Mobo is this a good setup?
  7. Well the sata are ment to give a boost with the HHDs and SSDs so in a future if you going to get a SSD then it will pay off, I mean the MOBOs with out the new feature but with only Crossfire are only about 20 bucks cheaper. And yes the set up with the MOBO i showed is spot on, but i would go with 6850 or 6870 Graphics.
