Additional Comments: I will be using programs such as , Maya 3D , Cinema 4D , Photoshop , After Effects , Illustrator . I will play games, I dont mind if they run at medium graphics, but they must be SMOOTH . To the case...well looks really dont matter, I just want it to be really nicely cooled and fitted in . I will probably connect an xbox360 to the monitor .

Thanks !

AMD or Intel ?? That's the question . I would go for AMD, but does is it the smarter choice now ?

ahh I'm sorry Phenom X6 is amd.... It is a smart choice, because the CPUs only cost around 300ish for a 6 core CPU, now the draw back, is the CPU, in NONthreaded applications is on the level of a i7 930... On higher threads it comes in third, or fourth.

So, since my budget is about 1k, I could get the Phenom X6 And use money upgrading other stuff ? I think Ill do it, ive just been reading here some X6 vs i7 reviews, blabla, and the AMD actually does convince me, since im doing a sort of budget rig. But I need the remaining parts...

sorry for it being a little over....

Sub the CPU for the 6 core.... and you could get away with a cheaper PSU... but that is about what you are looking at

I had a monitor in there =D
You can't go 6 gigs with an AMD build, there is a thing call channelling, basically you hae to do it in sets of 2, 4, 8, 16, ect... for optimal performance, at least on AMD, and intel(except for i7s), i7s do triple channel, 3, 6, 12, 24, ect.

So.... 4 or 8...

Oh sorry, didnt see a monitor :x 8 Is overkill, but if its the only option over 4, let it be 8 :)

Ill manage the money, Ill ask a shop expert about you're build, with the 650W the other dude said :) If I could get some more build options, like Intel based builds... yeah, not only on this thread mate, ive posted like 4. Always end up deleting and posting a new one, cuz no one would respond. Probably cuse I didnt put enough info, but thats the thing, I need help basicly whith Everything ! And if people are just gonna help those that actually need help wwith theyre build and are not gonna help those that NEED a build, but dont know crap. Well, it sucks. Thanks ;)

yeah... stinks... If you want I could teach you stuff..... I can put together a rough build in like 30 seconds... but I then have to get links... and I just am too lazy... lol.... I do this for fun... sooooo yeah... lol, man that is alot of periods.

try maybe a i5, 4 gigs of ram, 6850, 650 watt PSU and the extras... cd drive, os, ect.
