Got Myself In It Pretty Deep

I recently purchased a 2 TB Seagate Barracuda BARE drive. I tried cloning my current hard drive over onto it. The problem I had is that when I did this it effectively changed my Hard Drive into believing it was only 500GB like my current one. I tried formatting it but now it just thinks it's 500GB bare I believe. Now I'm lost, I think I might have to do something through the boot menu but I don't really know for sure. Any help is greatly appreciated!

All you did was put a 500GB partition on it. You can use some programs to extend the current partition to the full 2TB. For example, I like to use Minitool's Partition Wizard, but it's not the only option. Don't worry, you didn't break anything

Rt click My computer, select mange, then select Disk management.
You should see Disk0 with a 500 gig "C-drive" partition and the remainder of the drives as Un-initilized.
Rt like the UNUSED portion then, Just initilize, partition and format - walla, bang, done.
