the 6870 can play any game at that resolution.
& if your'e just gaming you don't need an intel CPU
The 1090T is a Hexacore processor,
you really dont even need thata Quad Core Processor like the one in the build would do fine.

that's extremely false. The i5 750 will outperform an amd phenom II x4 955 in everything. It's much better in video editing/encoding etc.. But it's still better in games. The amd is just a good choice for lower budgets because it allows for more $ for a better gpu.

There's sticky'ed links at the top of the Systems Forum with all sorts of build for all sorts of price ranges. $1k is one of the standards and in that thread there are at least 5 good builds.
