Ive installed Diablo 2 and the graphics are wonky

Hello,

I have up to date drivers for my video card and the laptop is brand new(toshiba sat) but the colors are off at times and my screen blinks occasionally.What can i do to fix this?

Enable 3d acceleration? Make sure the color depth is at 32 bit? XD

Sorry, I hate laughing at others' problems, but oh man, I would have no idea where to begin.
