I have one monitor connected to DVI output (displaying 1900x1200) & one connected to VGA. VGA one will only go to 1280x1024 max. Why is that? Card is an ATI Radeon 9800 pro, with 128MB. Both monitors are 25" Asus with 1900x1200 capability. Thanks for any help provided.

From what I'm reading online, it looks like it could be a few things.
1. You need updated drivers for your second monitor. Have you tried switching the monitors to see if it works on one and not the other?
2. This might be a limitation of the video card itself, not being able to drive dual displays at a high resolution.
Anyone else have any thoughts?
