Greetings all,
Perhaps someone can help. I am going to attempt to build a system and need help wiring a 18 pin female connector
(part #51110-1851, http://search.digikey.com/scripts/ [...] WT.srch=1)
its 2 rows x 9 across. Very small 23/32" width by 1/8 in depth, I have no idea of what size male crimp pin fits in it or what gauge size wire to use either. Any help would be much appreciated please keep in mind I have no experience with computers other buying one already built.
Thanks

Exactly what are you trying to build?

I never heard of anyone making their own wires. If you a real novice as I think you suggest I think you should read all the "Toms Build your Own" articles first. Watch a lot of video on you tube and put components together not wires. Your asking for trouble if you don't.

Following is the "Toms receipe" I loosely followed listed in the March $1500.00 build. I did a few upgrades and dropped 1 gpu to save some bucks. Its working great im happy to report.
