1090t vs 965 BE

I was wondering which to buy, since the 1090t is just 40 dollars more now...

The 1090t is a six core CPU whil the 965BE is a quad core.

It really depends on what you are doing though. In gaming, a 6 core CPU will be pretty useless but in heavily threaded apps like rendering and such it will beat the 965 easily.

The one in the left column is a 1090t the right is a 965BE (not sure why it shows nothing but I selected a 965BE).

Unless you need the extra two cores of the 1090t, go for the 965BE.
