CM Hyper 212 Question

I've been looking for a good cpu cooler for a few days and seems to me like Hyper 212 is a popular choice (Around the 30 dollar mark I put)

So I looked around to purchase it, and I don't know which one is which!?

Can you guys point me which one is the one people are suggesting? Or which one of them are best?

I know I'm probably going to sound like a complete NOOB when I ask this but, hey, I'd rather get the best kind then to try to sound smart

BTW my system is (or will be)

Thermaltake V3 Black Edition
ASUS P8 P67
i5-2500k
CM Hyper 212
GSkill 8gb ddr-3 1333
EVGA gtx 460 1gb soc
CM GX 650w
Seagate 1TB 3.5" 7200

They all appear to be the same. Go ahead and buy the cheapest one of those four.

By personal preference I'd go with the one from NewEgg, but that's because I like their return policies and such.
  2. Are you sure that the Hyper 212+ fit in that case? In a V9 touch the side panel.
  3. Might as well buy it from Micro Center if you have one nearby. Relatively cheap, plus you don't have to wait for shipping and all that. That's where I got mine

Yes the other people in the forum stated that it should fit fine in a V3 Black Edition just fine. Why, don't you think it will fit?
  5. And if there are any fit problems (no idea if there are, just going off saint19's post) MC would likely be the easiest to return to.

So is it true, all four of them are the same thing? That's so wierd for Amazon have two of the samething for different prices.

    Oh NO!

    V9 - Physical Spec

    Dimensions(L x W x H)
    19.10" x 8.19" x 18.19"

    V3 - Physical Spec

    Dimensions(L x W x H)
    18.60" x 7.50" x 16.90"

Is there any chance that your motherboard is very big? Because lots of people have given me the impression it was going to be a sure fit.

Again, thanks for all the help!
  9. My case is a hair under 8" and it fits very nicely. However, you'll definitely want to check into it a little more to be certain.

The mobo doesn't have much to do. The pictures was with a MSI K9A2 Platinum, after that changed for my current mobo Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 and the space was the same.
  11. OK. I've decided that it's just a tiddy big for my case. T.T

Can you guys recommend some other popular coolers? (Around $30 mark)

and it would be great if it actually would FIT my case xD

    thanks so much guys!
