^ Even I feel the Sandybridge would achieve high overclocks because of the 32nm Manufacturing Tech and also the new architecture, but there is a catch though, you would need the K series CPUs so that you can overclock as now the BCLK is attached to the PCIe bus hence not easy to overclock by increasing the BCLK, that is the reason why he has a K series I guess...

You might try pricing a similar machine with an i5-750 or so. Not long ago this would save you $200 or so, I don't know what it's like right now. Even the lowly i5-750 will overclock very well and make a darned fast machine. With the savings you could put even more into your GPU.
