HDMI TV cards linux software

Hi can any one tell me if their is a HDMI tv card that will enable me to watch programs from my uk cable set top box which is a virgin HD + box and only has a HDmi out slot. I have a dvi to hdmi graphics card which allows me to us my pc on my hd ready tv via the dvi hdmi cable. I am a Linux user and am trying to get away from windows. Any ideas welcome on this subject
