Question about my Processor's voltage/wattage (Athlon II x4 640)

Hey guys!

Good Day! I have a question regarding my processor's voltage/wattage. Why is the voltage on 1.456v? I didn't do any overclocking. Is that normal? I just completed my rig just yesterday and I was thinking why its on 1.456v. And my wattage is on 104w instead of the said 95w of this kind of cpu.

Processor: AMD Athlon II x4 640
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H (Rev 1.4)
Memory: OCZ Gold PC1333
HDD: 1TB WD Green MB Cache
PSU: FSP Supersonic 500w 80+

Any help is extremely appreciated.

Thanks guys!

  1. According to the specs, the voltage range is 1.05 - 1.40 and the power consumption is 95 watts.

Try checking the voltage using OCCT and see if there is any difference.
