WD Black ATA Question

Sometimes I hook up a internal WD Black 2TB to my MB the same as any internal drive. Sata cable and power.
If i go into my computer and double click the drive (G) it says application not found.
I can open the drive by right clicking and selecting ( Open ).
Its strange that also in the right click menu is an option to (install or run program from your media) in bold.

NOTE the picture of device manager show the problem drive listed as ( ATA Device )

i have a 750 and it also show as ata device and the drive is a serial ata one .

Are they on different SATA controllers?

I'm not sure if they are. How do i tell ?
Also this drive is showing up on the safely remove hardware taskbar icon.
I have a AS Rock Extreme 4 MoBo,
The 1st Drive is on a Sata 3 port (port 2) and the 2nd backup drive is on the 5th or 6th port and its a Sata 2.

Is there an AUTORUN.INF file in the drive's root directory?
