Motherboard beeps continually and monitor doesn\'t turn on

didnt use my computer for a while before which it was working fine, i recently tried turning it on when i heard a continuos beeping sound the monitor light stay on orange instead of green and it doesnt come on, also the button on the cpu doesnt turn off the computer i HAVE TO USE THE switch at the back. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!!!

What is the make and model of the motherboard, memory modules, graphics card, power supply unit?

Is it a consumer desktop unit like an HP or Dell or Acer or Gateway or Sony or ...? If it is what is its series and model number?
