Do i need a nic with a wireless n adapter

Hello,
i'm new to wirless things! i have an oldish pc with no wireless technology and no network interface card. do i need a nic or will a wirless n adapter that talks to the wireless hub suffice to get broadband to my pc.

A wired NIC is essential in my view for setting up equipment -- you can't rely on wireless.

What kind of setup do you have right now, admelz? Do you already have a wireless router?
