Problem with my XFX ATI Radeon 5870 Graphics card

My new build ASUS Rampage III Extreme Motherboard intel core i7950 corsair Domanator GT 2000Mhz Tri Channel DDR3 and the problem is with the XFX ATI Radeon 5870 When I tryed to load the drivers from the CD rom the dam thing blue screened me and shut down the computer. If have ask the people at XFX the gave me this link but still could not get the drivers to load up. My computer is just using a defult graphics setting.. It is very frustrating when you have problems like this and no one can help so I am here again asking for help from my friends here.. Thanks to all who reply Richard

So, boot from safe mode and uninstall your current driver, after that download the latest version of driver from:
www.amd.com

If you already had another card previously installed, and were using a program like afterburner, it may be trying to force an overclock on the card as soon as your system registers it, causing it to bluescreen, try what wa1 said and boot in safe mode
