Warranty question

Just got an MSI 5770 Hawk. Do I need to sign up some where for the warranty? I didn't see anything in the paperwork that came with the card about the warranty. How does it work?

On the MSI website got to the service tab and click it, There is an option to register your product. You have to register it to get the warranty.

Hmm, doesn't give much info on the warranty though. Doesn't state when it's up, or what to do to use it.

My question would be, how do I use the warranty if there is an issue with the card?

You file a RMA claim through customer support at their website if the card brakes during the warranty period if the retailer you bought it from does not accept it.

Does the warranty begin from the time I registered it? Bought it? How can I tell. Sorry for all the stupid questions, just wanna make sure I don't mess up the warranty and run into problems if something happens.

Most of the time you will have to show a proof of purchase (invoice/receipt).

Heh, was gonna say. Well thanks for all the info. Just didn't want to have something happen to the card a few months from no and be screwed that I didn't do the warranty right.
