HI DEARS,

I JUST GOT A STRANGE PROBLEM, FIRST OF ALL I'VE A D945GNT INTEL MOBO. HT INSIDE 3.00GHZ, 2048 MB RAM, NVIDIA GEFORCE 7300GS, ICH7R/DH SATA RAID/AHCI CONTROLLERS,

I USED TO INSTALL WIN7 OS AT SATA RAID CONFIGURATION, AND INSTALLED THE NEWEST DRIVERS FOR ICH7R/DH, ALL WAS GOING SUPER FINE RATHER THAN FINE UNTIL I INSTALLED THE SOFTWARE YAMICSOFT WINDOWS 7 MANAGER V. 3.0.3 FINAL, I CHANGED SOME CONFIGURATIONS IN OPTIMIZER'S SUB CATEGORY 'PC STARTUP' WITH SOME MORE CONFIGURATIONS, INFACT HOPING FOR LITTLE BIT EXTRA PERFORMANCE, AND THAT WAS BEGINNING OF MY BAD LUCK, AFTER CHANGING THE CONFIGURATIONS IN WIN7 MANAGER SOFTWARE, REQUIRING RESTART THEN I RESTARTED THE PC, IT WAS TOO LATE STARTUP, AND I WAS WONDERING THE OS WHICH WAS FIRST STARTING WITHIN 10 OR 12 SECONDS, TOOK ABOUT 20 OR PERHAPS MORE SECONDS, IMMEDIATELY I UNINSTALLED THE DAMN WIN7 MANAGER SOFTWARE, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THERE, I THEN REINSTALLED THE SOFTWARE 'WIN7 MANAGER' AND RESTORED THE DEFAULT OPTIONS INTHE ALL CATEGORIES WHICH I HAD CHANGED IN THAT SOFTWARE, AFTER DOING DAT I UNINSTALLED THE WIN7 MANAGER SOFTWARE, BUT THE PROBLEM (SLOW OS STARTUP) STILL EXIST, EVEN I FORMATTED THE C DRIVE WITH NEW INSTALLATION OF WIN7 ULTIMATE WITH SERVICE PACK 1 BUILD 7601, AND CHANGE OF HARD DRIVES TOO,

NOW I'M SERIOUSLY THINKING THAT I SHOULD CHANGE MY MOBO OR SOMETHING ELSE?????????????????????????????????????????

First off, never use "optimizers" because they rarely help and often do harm.

However, I don't think a 20 second startup time for your system is unreasonable. In fact, depending on your exact hard drive setup, it seems pretty fast. My old Pentium D rig takes over a minute from when I flip the switch to get to a usable desktop.

Hope that helps and good luck!
