If you go with Intel, Frys electronics has the asus sabertooth 1366 with i7 950 cpu for $399 after rebate in today's ad if you live near one of their stores; don't know if they will ship to you at this price. Right now amd is a dead end for an upgrade. The new bulldozer doesn't improve gaming performance enough over your current cpu to justify a change. Newegg had the 2500K open box for $133 the other day; a good buy but it sold out fast. Changing to a ddr3 board won't improve you cpu performance that much if you stay with amd.
